First time in a few years I won’t be travelling this Easter. I was supposed to be hiking in Norway at this moment, breathing the air of the fjords, feeling small in comparison to Nature.
This Easter I’m in Portugal, staying at home. It is our duty. It’s not supposed to be easy. It certainly isn’t for me. But I’m trying to look at this as the time to recharge, to rest, to learn how to relax, without losing the focus on my travels. This situation will be over eventually and we’ll be able to resume our lives. Hopefully, differently. A different perspective, lessons learnt.
In 2017 and 2018 I went exploring Scotland during Easter break. Last year, I was exploring the North of Morocco. This year, I’m mostly sitting on a coach, feeling a bit depressed, but trying to take the time to relax. We’re all in the same boat, folks.
Last year, in Chefchaouen, Morocco 3 years ago in Arthur’s seat, Edinburgh, Scotland 2 years ago in Conic Hill, Scotland
To better Easter breaks, and even more adventures!
Happy Easter, whenever you are, stay home and eat!
Love
Nic
